- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 green onions, chopped (optional for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef slices and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce mixture over the beef and bring to a simmer.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth, then stir into the skillet.
- Cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, if using.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or vegetables.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Use chicken or tofu as a beef substitute for variation.
