- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional toppings: sliced olives, mushrooms, bell peppers
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and press into a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust, pressing up the sides slightly.
- Spoon the beef mixture evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top. Add optional toppings if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
