- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle and cut into 12 strips.
- Tie each strip into a knot and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Brush half of the garlic butter mixture onto the knots.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and immediately brush with remaining garlic butter.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- You can use homemade or store-bought pizza dough for convenience.
- For extra cheesy flavor, add more Parmesan on top before baking.
- Great for dipping in marinara sauce.
