Description

These easy and delicious garlic knots are soft, fluffy, and packed with garlicky flavor. Perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or snack, they’re sure to be a hit with garlic lovers!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle and cut into 12 strips.
  3. Tie each strip into a knot and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Brush half of the garlic butter mixture onto the knots.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and immediately brush with remaining garlic butter.
  8. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use homemade or store-bought pizza dough for convenience.
  • For extra cheesy flavor, add more Parmesan on top before baking.
  • Great for dipping in marinara sauce.
