- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Tie each strip into a knot and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the knots.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and brush with remaining garlic butter.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
- Can substitute pizza dough with homemade or store-bought bread dough.
- For extra cheesiness, add mozzarella before baking.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
