Description

These easy and delicious garlic knots are soft, fluffy, and packed with garlic flavor, making them the perfect appetizer or side for any Italian meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into strips about 1 inch wide.
  3. Tie each strip into a knot and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the knots.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and brush with remaining garlic butter.
  8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired and serve warm.

  • Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • Can substitute pizza dough with homemade or store-bought bread dough.
