- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 cup pastel-colored candy-coated chocolate eggs
- 1/4 cup pastel sprinkles
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract if using.
- Quickly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
- Gently mix in half of the candy eggs and sprinkles.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down evenly using a buttered spatula or wax paper.
- Top with the remaining candy eggs and sprinkles, pressing them slightly into the surface.
- Let cool for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- Use fresh marshmallows for best results — older marshmallows can affect texture.
- Add food coloring to melted marshmallows for extra festive flair.
- Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
