Description
A flavorful and cheesy Doritos Taco Casserole made with seasoned ground beef, creamy soup, and crushed Doritos, perfect for a family dinner or potluck.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups Doritos, crushed (Nacho Cheese flavor recommended)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- Optional toppings: sliced olives, chopped green onions, diced tomatoes, jalapeños
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and drained diced tomatoes with green chilies. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until combined.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread half of the crushed Doritos on the bottom.
- Pour the beef mixture over the Doritos and spread evenly. Top with half of the shredded cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining Doritos on top, then add the remaining cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Top with desired optional toppings.
Notes
- For extra flavor, substitute cream of mushroom with cream of chicken or nacho cheese soup.
- Ground turkey or shredded chicken can be used instead of beef.
- Add black beans or corn for more texture and nutrition.
