Description

A flavorful and easy pasta dish featuring tender chicken bites sautéed in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup pasta cooking water (reserved)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter.
  6. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.
  8. Add the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water. Stir to combine.
  9. Mix in Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
  10. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through and coated.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and melting.
  • You can substitute chicken with shrimp for a seafood twist.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes to taste for desired spice level.
