- 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 avocado, diced
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1/3 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and dry the romaine lettuce, then chop and add it to a large salad bowl.
- Arrange the cherry tomatoes, avocado, hard-boiled eggs, blue cheese, bacon, chicken, and red onion on top of the lettuce in rows or sections.
- Sprinkle with chopped chives for garnish.
- Drizzle the dressing evenly over the salad or serve on the side.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Toss gently before serving or allow guests to mix their own portions.
Notes
- You can substitute blue cheese with feta or goat cheese if preferred.
- Grilled shrimp or turkey can be used instead of chicken for variation.
