- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Pour chicken broth over the chicken.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and oregano evenly over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Remove chicken from the crockpot and shred using two forks.
- Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to coat with the juices.
- Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Notes
- Can be frozen for up to 3 months for future use.
- Use for tacos, burritos, sandwiches, salads, or casseroles.
- Add salsa or barbecue sauce for extra flavor variations.
