Description

Tender, juicy shredded chicken made easily in a crockpot, perfect for tacos, salads, sandwiches, and more.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Pour chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and oregano evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Remove chicken from the crockpot and shred using two forks.
  6. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to coat with the juices.
  7. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Notes

  • Can be frozen for up to 3 months for future use.
  • Use for tacos, burritos, sandwiches, salads, or casseroles.
  • Add salsa or barbecue sauce for extra flavor variations.
