Instructions
- Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and cut into desired sizes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the egg and cold beer to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined; the batter should be slightly lumpy.
