Description

A quick and easy creamy spaghetti and meatballs recipe that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Tender meatballs are simmered in a rich, creamy tomato sauce and served over spaghetti for a comforting and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 7-8 minutes.
  5. Pour in the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes, until meatballs are cooked through.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and mozzarella (if using). Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is creamy and well combined.
  7. Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought or homemade meatballs.
  • For a lighter version, use ground turkey or chicken.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
  • Use whole wheat spaghetti for added fiber.
