Description

A rich and creamy pasta dish made with tender ham and melted cheese, perfect for a comforting and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the diced ham and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and milk. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Cook for 1-2 minutes more until everything is heated through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use any type of pasta you prefer, such as penne, fusilli, or fettuccine.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
