Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the creamy sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes more.
  8. Serve the creamy garlic butter chicken over a bed of egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley.
