Description

A refreshing and creamy broccoli slaw made with crunchy vegetables and a tangy-sweet dressing, perfect as a side dish or potluck favorite.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli slaw mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli slaw mix, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, and chopped red onion.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli slaw mixture and toss until well coated.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Give it a final toss before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half of the mayonnaise.
