Description
These Cream Cheese Oreo Brownies are rich, fudgy brownies swirled with a creamy cheesecake layer and packed with Oreo cookie chunks for a decadent dessert.

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar (for cream cheese layer)
- 1 egg (for cream cheese layer)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for cream cheese layer)
- 12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder until fully combined.
- Spread about 2/3 of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1/2 tsp vanilla; mix until fully combined.
- Carefully spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter in the pan.
- Dollop the remaining brownie batter over the top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Sprinkle chopped Oreo cookies evenly on top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- For easier slicing, chill the brownies for an hour before cutting.
- You can double the recipe and bake in a 9×13-inch pan for a larger batch.
