Description

These Cream Cheese Oreo Brownies are rich, fudgy brownies swirled with a creamy cheesecake layer and packed with Oreo cookie chunks for a decadent dessert.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar (for cream cheese layer)
  • 1 egg (for cream cheese layer)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for cream cheese layer)
  • 12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder until fully combined.
  3. Spread about 2/3 of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1/2 tsp vanilla; mix until fully combined.
  5. Carefully spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter in the pan.
  6. Dollop the remaining brownie batter over the top and swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Sprinkle chopped Oreo cookies evenly on top.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • For easier slicing, chill the brownies for an hour before cutting.
  • You can double the recipe and bake in a 9×13-inch pan for a larger batch.
