- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 oz lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat fats and garlic: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat until the butter is melted. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add crab: Gently fold in the crab meat and cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through, being careful not to break up the lumps.
- Season: Add lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper, stirring gently to combine all flavors.
- Finish and serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve warm, either on its own, over greens, or with low-carb vegetables.
