Description

A refreshing and creamy fruit salad made with a mix of citrus, coconut, and marshmallows, Classic Ambrosia Salad is a nostalgic dessert perfect for gatherings and holidays.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 (8 oz) can pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, halved and drained
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mini marshmallows, and shredded coconut.
  2. Gently fold in mandarin oranges, pineapple tidbits, maraschino cherries, and grapes.
  3. If using, fold in chopped pecans.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
