Description

Chopped Cheeseburger Sliders are mini sandwiches filled with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and classic burger toppings, perfect for parties or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened.
  3. Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it up as it cooks.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. Mix well.
  5. Slice slider buns horizontally, keeping the bottoms and tops intact as single pieces.
  6. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Spread the beef mixture evenly over them.
  7. Top with sliced pickles, shredded lettuce, and American cheese slices.
  8. Cover with the top halves of the buns.
  9. Brush melted butter over the tops and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if using.
  10. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
  11. Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can add diced tomatoes or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Use any cheese of your preference like cheddar or mozzarella.
  • Great for meal prep or party appetizers.
