For the Bars:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 (10-ounce) bag mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
For the Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Bars: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper. Melt butter in a pot over medium heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Remove from heat, mix in ½ cup peanut butter, then fold in Rice Krispies.
- Press Into Dish: Press mixture evenly into prepared dish.
- Make Topping: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and ¼ cup peanut butter in intervals. Pour over bars.
- Set and Serve: Let bars sit at room temperature or chill until set. Cut into squares and enjoy!
Notes
- Add a pinch of salt or chopped peanuts for extra crunch.
