Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add shredded chicken and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir and cook for 5–7 minutes until the chicken is heated through and well coated with spices.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
  5. Fill each tortilla with seasoned chicken, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, cilantro, and sour cream if using.
  6. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Customize toppings to your preference—add avocado, salsa, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas and Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
