- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add shredded chicken and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir and cook for 5–7 minutes until the chicken is heated through and well coated with spices.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
- Fill each tortilla with seasoned chicken, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, cilantro, and sour cream if using.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Customize toppings to your preference—add avocado, salsa, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas and Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
