A one-pan Chicken Parmesan Pasta Skillet that combines tender chicken, marinara sauce, pasta, and melted cheese for a quick and comforting dinner.

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 8 ounces uncooked penne or rotini pasta
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in marinara sauce and chicken broth, then stir in uncooked pasta and Italian seasoning.
- Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until pasta is tender and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top, cover, and let it melt for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for an even quicker meal.
- Try adding red pepper flakes for a spicier kick.
- Use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta if desired.
