Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, and marinara sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the top, followed by Parmesan cheese.
  5. In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with olive oil, then sprinkle over the cheese layer.
  6. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving if desired.

  • Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
