Description
A comforting and creamy casserole version of the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu, combining chicken, ham, Swiss cheese, and a buttery breadcrumb topping.

- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 1/2 cups diced ham
- 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Fold in shredded chicken, diced ham, and 1 1/2 cups of Swiss cheese.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of Swiss cheese over the top.
- In a small bowl, mix Panko breadcrumbs with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with a golden topping.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Substitute Swiss cheese with mozzarella or provolone if preferred.
- To make ahead, assemble the casserole and refrigerate until ready to bake.
