Description

Cheesy Sausage Balls are savory, bite-sized appetizers made with sausage, cheddar cheese, and baking mix. Perfect for parties, game days, or breakfast treats.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and Bisquick baking mix.
  3. Add the milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use spicy sausage for an extra kick.
  • Make ahead and freeze unbaked balls; bake straight from frozen adding 5 extra minutes.
  • Great with dipping sauces like ranch or honey mustard.
