- 8 slices of white sandwich bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional for extra flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
- Trim crusts off the bread slices and flatten them with a rolling pin.
- Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella over each slice of bread.
- Roll each bread slice tightly into a log shape and place seam side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush each roll-up generously with the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
- You can substitute mozzarella with a cheese blend or cheddar for variety.
- Add a pinch of red chili flakes to the butter for a spicy kick.
