Description

Cheesy Garlic Butter Roll-Ups are a delicious, quick appetizer or side dish made with bread, melted cheese, and a flavorful garlic butter spread. Perfect for parties or as a cheesy snack.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices of white sandwich bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional for extra flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
  3. Trim crusts off the bread slices and flatten them with a rolling pin.
  4. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella over each slice of bread.
  5. Roll each bread slice tightly into a log shape and place seam side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush each roll-up generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can substitute mozzarella with a cheese blend or cheddar for variety.
  • Add a pinch of red chili flakes to the butter for a spicy kick.
