Description

Cheesecake Brownies combine the rich, fudgy texture of chocolate brownies with a creamy cheesecake swirl, creating a decadent dessert perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, 1 cup sugar, eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1/2 tsp vanilla and mix until creamy.
  5. Dollop the cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter and swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a fudgier brownie, slightly underbake by a minute or two.
