- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared baking dish. Drizzle half the caramel sauce over the batter.
- Spread the remaining batter on top, followed by the remaining caramel sauce. Use a knife to gently swirl the caramel into the batter.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely before slicing. Drizzle with extra caramel if desired.

- Use high-quality cocoa powder for richer flavor.
- Let brownies cool before cutting to get clean slices.
