Description

A deliciously sweet and fizzy fall treat combining creamy vanilla ice cream, tangy apple cider, and rich caramel sauce for a dessert-style float.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 4 tablespoons caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling apple cider (optional, for extra fizz)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Ground cinnamon or cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chill the apple cider in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  2. Scoop vanilla ice cream into serving glasses (2 scoops per glass).
  3. Pour 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce over each scoop of ice cream.
  4. Slowly pour chilled apple cider over the ice cream in each glass until nearly full.
  5. If desired, top with a splash of club soda or sparkling apple cider for fizz.
  6. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  7. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick if desired.
  8. Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use spiced apple cider.
  • You can make it dairy-free by using non-dairy ice cream.
  • Use store-bought or homemade caramel sauce based on preference.
