Description

These Caramel Apple Bites are a quick, easy, and delicious fall treat made with fresh apples, soft caramel, and optional toppings. Perfect for parties, after-school snacks, or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (any variety)
  • 20 soft caramel candies
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup crushed peanuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers (optional)
  • Toothpicks or small skewers

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the apples, then cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Insert a toothpick or small skewer into each apple piece.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramel candies and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  4. Dip each apple bite into the melted caramel, letting the excess drip off.
  5. Roll the caramel-coated apple bites into optional toppings like crushed peanuts, mini chocolate chips, or crushed graham crackers.
  6. Place the finished bites on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to set.
  7. Serve immediately or store in the fridge until ready to eat.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought caramel sauce instead of melting candies for convenience.
  • Granny Smith apples work great for a tart-sweet balance.
  • Best enjoyed the same day for freshness.
