Description

Burrata Bruschetta is a delicious and elegant appetizer featuring creamy burrata cheese atop toasted bread, enhanced with juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of crusty baguette or Italian bread, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
  • 1 garlic clove, halved

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush each side with olive oil.
  3. Toast the bread in the oven for about 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  4. While the bread is toasting, mix cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
  5. Once the bread is done, rub each slice with the cut side of the garlic clove.
  6. Top each slice with a portion of burrata cheese.
  7. Spoon the marinated tomatoes over the burrata.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  9. Serve immediately.
