Description

A creamy, savory BLT dip loaded with crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes, and lettuce, served with golden crostini. Perfect for parties or as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (seeds removed)
  • 1/2 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 French baguette, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  3. Bake the crostini for 8–10 minutes or until golden and crisp. Set aside to cool.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, and cheddar cheese until well combined.
  5. Fold in crumbled bacon and diced tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spread the dip mixture into a serving dish and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Before serving, top with chopped romaine lettuce and green onions (if using).
  8. Serve chilled with crostini on the side for dipping.

  • Use cherry tomatoes for a sweeter flavor and less moisture.
  • Make the dip a day ahead to enhance the flavor.
