Description

These Big Mac Wraps bring all the classic flavors of the iconic burger into a handheld wrap, combining seasoned ground beef, crisp lettuce, tangy pickles, and a delicious Big Mac sauce wrapped in a warm tortilla. Ready in just 25 minutes, they’re perfect for a quick, satisfying meal that’s both fun and flavorful.

Ingredients

Scale

Meat Mixture

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Wrap Components

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Big Mac sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Sauté Onions: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for about 2 minutes, or until softened and translucent.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
  3. Season the Meat: Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper into the beef mixture. Cook for another 2 minutes to allow the spices to meld. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Warm Tortillas: While the beef mixture cools slightly, warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until they become soft and pliable, making them easier to fold without tearing.
  5. Assemble Wraps: Spread about 1 tablespoon of Big Mac sauce in the center of each tortilla. Layer shredded lettuce, the cooked beef mixture, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced pickles, and shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the sauce.
  6. Roll Wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly from one end to the other to form a secure wrap.
  7. Toast Wraps: Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and toast for 2-3 minutes on each side until the wrap is golden brown and crispy, helping to melt the cheese inside.
  8. Serve: Remove the wraps from the skillet, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately while warm and melty.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought Big Mac sauce or make your own for a homemade touch.
  • Feel free to substitute flour tortillas with whole wheat or gluten-free options if preferred.
  • To add extra flavor, consider adding a few slices of tomato or a dash of hot sauce inside the wrap.
  • If you don’t have both cheddar and mozzarella, using just one cheese type works fine.
  • Be careful not to overfill the wraps to avoid tearing when rolling.
