- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add sugar, melted butter, salt, and eggs. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

- Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly on top.
- Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 even rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- While rolls bake, make frosting by beating cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread frosting over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- For extra gooey rolls, pour a little heavy cream over the rolls before baking.
- Make the dough the night before and let it rise in the fridge overnight.
- Use room temperature ingredients for best results.
