- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 (5.1 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
- 1 box vanilla wafer cookies
- Optional: whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until it thickens.
- Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract to the pudding and mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
- In a trifle dish or a large bowl, layer vanilla wafers, banana slices, and pudding mixture. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with pudding on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Top with additional whipped cream and crushed wafers if desired before serving.
