- 3 large eggs

- 2 cups apple pie filling
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce (optional, for topping)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of the pan to form a crust.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in vanilla extract and sour cream.
- Spread half of the cheesecake batter over the crust.
- In a separate bowl, mix apple pie filling with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Layer the apple mixture over the cheesecake batter.
- Top with the remaining cheesecake batter and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven, crack the door open, and let the cheesecake cool for 1 hour inside.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, drizzle with caramel sauce and garnish with whipped cream if desired.
