Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup salsa (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add refried beans to the skillet, mixing well until heated through.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet for easier rolling.
  6. Spoon the beef and bean mixture onto each tortilla, sprinkle with cheese, and roll into burritos.
  7. Optional: Top with salsa and sour cream before serving.
