- 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup salsa (optional)
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add refried beans to the skillet, mixing well until heated through.
- Warm the tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet for easier rolling.
- Spoon the beef and bean mixture onto each tortilla, sprinkle with cheese, and roll into burritos.
- Optional: Top with salsa and sour cream before serving.

- Use whole wheat tortillas for added fiber.
