Description

Tender baked salmon fillets glazed with a rich buttery honey mustard sauce, perfect for a quick yet elegant meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, garlic, and lemon juice until well combined.
  4. Spoon the sauce evenly over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven and optionally sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a deeper flavor, marinate the salmon in the sauce for 15 minutes before baking.
  • Adjust the mustard to honey ratio to suit your taste preference.
  • This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables or a light salad.
