- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Warm tortillas slightly in the microwave to make them pliable.
- Spoon meat mixture onto one half of each tortilla, sprinkle with cheese, and fold in half.
- Spray both sides of the folded tacos with cooking spray.
- Place tacos in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
- Remove from air fryer and top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa as desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Do not overfill the tacos to prevent them from breaking or leaking in the air fryer.
- You can use plant-based meat for a vegetarian option.
- For extra crispiness, press the tacos slightly in the air fryer basket before cooking.
