Description

These Air Fryer Tacos are crispy, delicious, and easy to make. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal, they can be filled with your favorite meat or vegetarian filling and topped with classic taco fixings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Warm tortillas slightly in the microwave to make them pliable.
  5. Spoon meat mixture onto one half of each tortilla, sprinkle with cheese, and fold in half.
  6. Spray both sides of the folded tacos with cooking spray.
  7. Place tacos in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
  9. Remove from air fryer and top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa as desired.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Do not overfill the tacos to prevent them from breaking or leaking in the air fryer.
  • You can use plant-based meat for a vegetarian option.
  • For extra crispiness, press the tacos slightly in the air fryer basket before cooking.
