Description

This Air Fryer Cajun Salmon is a quick, flavorful dish with a spicy kick, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush each salmon fillet with olive oil and rub the seasoning mix evenly over the top and sides.
  5. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket skin-side down in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the Cajun seasoning for more or less heat to your taste.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
  • Pair with a side of steamed vegetables or a light salad for a complete meal.
