Ingredients
Scale
Filling
- 3 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works great!)
- 8 oz block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried parsley flakes
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
Dough
- 2 cans crescent roll dough
Topping
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and either line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, grated Parmesan cheese, dried parsley flakes, black pepper, kosher salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly until the filling is creamy and well blended.
- Assemble the Bundles: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Place about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the chicken filling on the wide end of each triangle. Carefully roll up the dough, starting from the wide end, and tuck in the edges to seal and enclose the filling fully.
- Brush with Butter: Arrange the bundles on the prepared baking sheet. Using a brush, apply the melted unsalted butter evenly over the tops of each bundle. This will enhance flavor and promote a golden-brown, crispy finish.
- Bake the Bundles: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are puffed, golden brown, and crisp.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the bundles to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm, either on their own or accompanied by a fresh side salad.
Notes
- Using rotisserie chicken saves time and adds great flavor.
- Ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing.
- Brush the tops with melted butter before baking to achieve a rich, golden crust.
- These bundles freeze well after baking; reheat in the oven to restore crispness.
- Adjust seasonings to taste, especially salt and pepper.
