Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ham, pasta or rice, shredded cheese, soup, sour cream, milk, onion, vegetables, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix everything until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. If using topping, mix breadcrumbs or crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
  6. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes or until heated through and bubbly.
  7. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
