A refreshing and crunchy Waldorf Salad made with apples, celery, grapes, and walnuts in a creamy dressing. Perfect as a light meal or side dish.

- 2 medium apples, cored and chopped
- 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
- 1 cup celery, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped apples, grapes, celery, and walnuts.
- In a separate small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and lemon juice until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the fruit and vegetable mixture and toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve on a bed of lettuce leaves, if desired.
Notes
- Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter version.
- Red and green apples can be combined for color contrast.
- Toast walnuts in a dry skillet for enhanced flavor.
