Description

A refreshing and crunchy Waldorf Salad made with apples, celery, grapes, and walnuts in a creamy dressing. Perfect as a light meal or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 1 cup celery, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped apples, grapes, celery, and walnuts.
  2. In a separate small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the fruit and vegetable mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve on a bed of lettuce leaves, if desired.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter version.
  • Red and green apples can be combined for color contrast.
